Descent 3: Mercenary [PC Game]

Descent 3: Mercenary is the expansion add-on pack to Descent 3. Set in the same universe last seen in the original, the conspiracy continues as you fly as leader of the new Black Pyro ship. In single-player missions, the ship is selected automatically for certain levels while those playing multiplayer missions without Mercenary installed will see the ship as a regular Pyro-GL.

As leader of the Black Pyro hired by Dravis, you'll further his plans in a new, seven level single-player campaign. Those familiar with the world introduced in Descent 3 can expect to see more traps, secret puzzles, and distinct environments as the missions unfold. For multiplayer fans, four new missions created by Outrage await exploration: B-Sides is a collection of four bizarre (developer adjective) levels, Chaos contains three Entropy levels, Havoc consists of six levels for CTF or Anarchy play and Mayhem, with three small Monsterball-based levels.

The game also features a collection of fan-made multiplayer levels created for the original Descent 3 as well as version 1.0 of the Descent 3 Level Editor (D3Edit) for designing your own levels. D3Edit contains a full tutorial walkthrough to assist novice level and expert designers with power-up placement, robots, and scripted events.

Descent 3: Mercenary requires a 3D acceleration card as well as installation of the original game.
